The Big V is a semi-professional basketball league consisting of 45+ associations and 140+ teams covering both metropolitan and regional Victoria. The Victorian Junior Basketball League is a state-wide junior representative competition that offers a graduated system of competition giving opportunities for players to play against the best junior basketball players in the state.
Victoria really IS the place to be in basketball terms. And we’ve had it pretty right all bar one exception – youth competition. Players and clubs all happily mingle through junior ranks, but come that transition to seniors and you experienced the great divide.

Big V is a senior basketball league in Victoria comprising 145 semi-professional sides from 47 Associations in 12 competitions. The Knox Raiders have both a mens and womens team in Victorian Youth Championships, the top tier U23 competition. GAME ENTRY FEES: Adults (17yrs+): $5 Child (5-16yrs): $2 Child (≤5): FREE Family (2A+2C): $12
2021 games will be played at a variety of locations around Victoria and will consist of 16 regular rounds for Victorian Youth Championship and Youth League One Men, and 18 regular rounds for all other divisions, plus finals. Scheduled bye weekends will be held over Easter (3-4 April) a nd the Queen’s Birthday long weekend (12-13 June).

Welcome to Flight Basketball Academy! Flight Basketball is a multi-leveled platform in Victoria BC, where committed athletes are able to learn, grow and compete in the game of Basketball. At Flight, we ensure that every athlete and every coach is on a relentless pursuit of excellence.
We register our teams in Victoria and District Amateur Basketball Association's night league to play games with teams from all over Victoria. This is a basketball league for boys and girls ages 8 to 17. In September 2019, we will begin a 9 week basketball program "Little Dribblers" for children aged 5 to 8. The Saanich Peninsula Amateur Basketball season runs from September to March with practices one evening per week at either Bayside Middle School or North Saanich Middle School gyms.
